The Royal College of Nursing has published new standards to promote the highest level of care and wellbeing for children.
The new publication outlines standards for all children, young people and their families in health care services wherever they are in the four countries of the UK.
The RCN actively campaigns for national standards to meet the needs of children and young people. It promotes the commissioning of services which are specifically orientated to children, and young people and advocates the provision of appropriate environments and nursing services for children and young people in all health care settings.
