Dear All The Human Rights Act has been in operation for a reasonable amount of time now. I have seen some changes in clinical practice as a result of this. However, some of these changes are based on sound legal judgement whilst others are based on clinical staff's perceptions or misconceptions of what should be done to comply.
It would be interesting to hear what people feel about this. I've included some questions in the form of a poll, but it would be really great if people could share (anonymised if necessary) their experiences, whether good or bad.
Although my main interests are mental health related, I would be glad to hear from any specialties.
Best Regards
Paul S-D
